CLIENT: VERY SPECIAL KIDS

COMPANY BACKGROUND AND PROJECT

The next project was for Very Special Kids (VSK), a not-for-profit organisation that provides hospice care for sick and terminally ill children. The program is intended to bring quality of life to both the children and their families

For this project, I was to create some banner designs to be displayed on the VSK website. These banners were intended for their landing page, to help visitors understand what their organisation is about.

I was asked to feature specific children on the banners, who's story's would be told elsewhere on the website. As copy text hadn't been decided yet, I was asked to use "Lorem Ipsum" as placeholder text. 

The client required versions of banners for both Desktop and Mobile display formats. 

Desktop Designs

To ensure I kept the banner designs relevant to the VSK branding and image, I looked at previously approved projects and the design elements the client liked for their brand. 

For my designs, I chose to maintain the scrapbook aesthetic and incorporated their pre-existing icons and assets into the design to maintain a sense of brand continuity.

Mobile Designs

The mobile designs followed a similar style to that of their desktop counterparts.
